Barbary Drake
No longer venomous by the time they reach adulthood, barbary drakes have sheer size to protect them against any would-be attackers. These beasts are capable of ingesting half their own body weight worth of prey in a single sitting, and are highly territorial. Fights between adult barbaries are not uncommon, and handlers should be cautious when introducing two unfamiliar drakes.
Each drake is a whopping 31" long, with a 3' wingspan he's nothing short of impressive. Fully articulated using ball and socket armature, they're completely poseable with a realistic range of movements including a hinged jaw. He can roar, eat G.I. Joes, or just hang onto your pocket change for you. Each foot can rotate as well as move at the wrist/ankle, his knees and elbows bend, and his shoulders/hips have the same range of motion as a real shoulder or hip should. Each wing is independently poseable as well; they fold up, stretch out, backwards, and forwards, and every tines on both wings can be posed individually. |
