Voodoo Baboon
At homemade horrors, we're big fans of recycling and we figured reanimation was just another form of that. What we ended up with, we call voodoos. They're fluffy and horrible at the same time, plus they seem to get into everything they're not supposed to. We recommend housing your voodoo in a secure cage to ensure it doesn't eat your socks, order a lot of useless stuff through amazon or make trebuchets out of your kitchen utensils.
Each voodoo is about 7-8" tall sitting on their bum, with an 11" arm span finger bone to finger bone. They're hand sewn from some of our favorite furs, then stuffed with a combination of fluff and polyfill to give them a bean-bag feel. The head, hands and feet are cast resin from our original sculpts, so they're super durable (we have a crash-test voodoo that's been punted down hallways. He's still in one piece). Each one is then hand painted, sealed, then assembled with his pelt. This fellow is our replacement for the gen. 1 voodoo, now retired. The skull is inspired loosely by that of a baboon, with a touch of warthog thrown in for fun... They've got a great poker face, incidentally. |
