Baby Mayan Squiggle
Roughly half the size of a full grown squiggle dragon, these hatchlings require a little more care than their adult counterparts, and a lot more training. We're not biologists, but if we had to guess we'd say the tiny, mostly impotent rage of the baby mayans is some sort of defense mechanism. They're certainly not pack dragons; it became evident fairly soon after hatching that if not separated, the runts might well have become snacks for the larger babies. Like the adults, they seem to be one-person dragons, and woe betide anyone who stands between them and their human!
At roughly 7" tall and 18" long (longer with their neck extended) they're perfectly pocket-sized, but long enough to sit curled around your neck as well, provided you're comfortable having 'em that close to your jugular. Both their head and feet are cast in resin from our original sculpts, then hand painted and sealed before being assembled with ball and socket joints for a realistic range of movement. Each pelt is sewn from vegan friendly faux furs. Like all homemade horrors, these guys are extremely durable and meant to be enjoyed! |
